Morning post breakfast, meet with our cruise team followed by brief introduction about the upcoming epic adventurous journey.
It’s time to get familiarized with your Machine (The Royal Enfield) as well as mountain traffic.
Evening roam around in the colorful market (The Mall) of Manali town before entering the unoccupied land.
The epic adventurous journey begins towards Jibhi, A scenic village located in lap of Himalayas in Tirthan valley surrounded by millions of pine trees and Himalayan fauna/floras.
On arrival check in at pre-booked a charming resort situated on the bank of Small River.
Post refreshment proceeds for a small hike towards Jibhi waterfall situated deep inside the dense forest.
Evening at leisure or go for a nature walk nearby.
As day 4 dawns, we will bid goodbye to Jibhi and proceed towards Chitkul, on the way we will be crossing Jalori pass (3120m) and making our way towards Chitkul.
On the way you will be mesmerized by the fascinating mountain views on the legendary Hindustan-Tibet highway along the Sutlej River.
Chitkul is located along the Baspa River with stunning view of mighty Himalayas. It’s a principle town of Golden apple & Cherry in Kinnaur district.
Today ride to last motor able settlement on the Indo-Tibet border to visiting the most beautiful village of India, known as “The last village of India - Chitkul”, it has the cleanest air other than any places in India.
Later proceed to Kalpa, this enchanting village nestled in the towering white blanket wrapped Kinnaur Kailash Mountains.
Before reaching hotel we will stop at administrative office to get the inner-line permit to enter the ILOC (International Line of Control) zone of Spiti Valley. During the official formalities you will have chance to taste the local cuisine nearby the market.
A fairytale journey begins as today we are heading to Tabo situated in Spiti valley. En route admire the serenity of village life of Pooh & Sumdho. Interestingly, these scenic villages are situated on the bank of River Spiti.
Stop for lunch at the pretty and unspoiled town of Nako, an enchanting experience awaits you as we make our way towards Tabo; an miniscule village of Spiti Valley. Visit 1000 years old Tabo Monastery.
High on Himalayas is the theme of the day as today we are riding to Kaza, via visiting Dhankar an unexplored village of Spiti Valley. It’s a castle structure monastery on the cliff giving the breathtaking view of Spiti River. 360 degree topography from the monastery is an everlasting impression.
Next we will continue ride through a single black serpentine tarmac towards Komic (world highest altitude motorable village) and spend some memorable moments admiring the Gaya Peak (6000m). With spiritual and tranquility experience, we will move towards Hikkim village (it has world highest post office at a height of 4440m above sea level. Next, we will make a short stop at Langza or fossil village and continue ride towards biggest monastery of Spiti Vallley. Key Monastery is a lifetime spiritual experience, situated on a hill top, around 4200m above sea level. As evening falls, we will ride to Kaza hotel and turn in for the night.
After a good night’s sleep and breakfast, we will begin our ride towards Lahaul valley
On this route, we will visit famous highlights i.e. Chicham Bridge (Asia highest suspension bridge), Kibber and Loser – proceeding towards Kunzum Pass, the highest mountain pass of Spiti Valley, situated at an altitude of 4587 The majestic and awe-inspiring views of the Chandra Bhaga ranges are a sight for sore eyes!
On reaching Chattru we will stop for tea/refreshment break. Later we continue ride towards Tandi village, located on the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga rivers. A magnificent experience of which are guaranteed to stay with you forever.
How quickly these 8 days have passed of Lahaul & Spiti valley adventure trip! On day 9, we begin our ride towards Sarchu, located on the border line between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh region.
After crossing Jispa, we will enter the Greater Himalayan landscape. Enjoy the breathtaking view followed by the giant Baralachha Pass (4850 meters). End of the day reach at Sarchu camp-site.
Today we will climb multiple high altitude mountains passes including Naki la (4740m), Lachung La (5065m) and Ghata loops (22 hair-pin bend would gives breathtaking view of Himalayan mountains). Post lunch we will head towards 3rd highest motor-able pass Taglang la (5359 m) followed by more plain a perfect blend of mountain-range-horizon. Taglang la descending will be beginning of land of Lama. End of the day will reach at Leh (the capital city of monks).
Tashi Delek to Ladakh, Since Leh is an altitude of 3500m above sea level hence due to high altitude, it is utmost importance that you walk or roam around in the leh market to prevent HAMS (high acute mountain sickness).
Evening we will visit a beautiful and magnificent Shanti Stupa located at a height of 3700m. This stupa surrounded by the beautiful ranges of snow-capped mountains.
On day 12th, the dream come true as today we will ride over world highest motor able road to approach Khardung la (5602 m), which has been listed in Guinness Book of World Records (GWR). Experience the 360° view of Himalayan range. After enjoying photography at Khardung la, we will start our ride towards Nubra valley (The land of Mongolian camels). On arrival at the camp-site check-in. Post refreshment proceeds to the desert, where you can experience the double-humped camel ride or spend quality time ? in the heart of cold desert.
Today proceeds towards Pangong Lake, en-route visit the biggest statue of Buddha at Diskit. Pangong Lake is the largest salty water lake in Asia. This Lake situated on the Indian-Chinese border (at the height of (4360 m above Sea Level). En-route, we will stop at Shyok village for tea break. Lunch at Durbuk with breathtaking view of high mountains, Late afternoon reach at Campsite after refreshment at campsite witness the unforgettable Sun-set view at Pangong Lake.
Morning ride towards Pangong lake side to capture the mesmerizing views of deep brackish lake, Say goodbye to Pangong Lake and ride to Leh, crossing over the 2nd highest motor-able pass “(Chang la 5360 m)”. Stop for lunch at Kharu village. Before reaching at Leh town we will take a stop at Thiksey monastery. End of the day reach at Leh hotel.
Today it’s time to say goodbye to mountains state and proceeds to Leh airport to catch the flight back to Delhi with unforgettable memories and exciting stories to recount.
