We toured with Sanjeev and his nice team for two weeks in August 2024 in Himachal Pradesh, Spiti Valley and Ladakh. An unforgettable experience and well organized. Communication was also great via email and WhatsApp. The riding pace is reasonably fast and I would not recommend the Trans Himalaya Tour to new riders. But if you're looking for off-road trails, you'll be well served here and have great scenery to boot. In addition, the Royal Enfields were in top condition and were serviced every evening. We met a number of other tour providers along the way, but in terms of atmosphere, organization and feeling, I wouldn't have wanted to change! Thank you Sanjeev, and I'd love to come back sometime!

Dear All, I would like to share my recent family trip to Amritsar --> Katra --> Pahalgam --> Srinagar --> Gulmarg --> Sonamarg --> Srinagar through "India Motorbike Tour" team. I heard about Sanjeev through by Brother who had been on bike tour couple of months ago. Since my first conversation with Sanjeev, through out the trip the way Sanjeev and his team ideated, planned and executed was fantabulous. Below are few points to accentuate about Sanjeev and his team. 1. I saw loads of patience and perseverance with this team. Reason being, since day 1 of my dialogue with Sanjeev, I never saw losing Patience or Temperament though there were many changes, if's and but's in formulating the plan. I have travelled with #Indiamotorbiketour twice. First time for Leh-Ladakh and second time for Spiti Valley. Its simple question why and what are the reasons that I chose them for second time as well? So here are the answers. 1. Till now I did 2 tours with IndiaMotorBike tour, the first one was Manali - Leh - Tsomoriri - Manali back in 2016 and recent one to Spiti valley via Jalori pass, and to my surprise during these past 5 years not a single thing has changed including the great hospitality from these guys rather they have taken it to next level. Before starting the Spiti tour I was confident on itinerary selection and ride support from team with my past experience but due to nature of tour was anticipating possible changes to planned accommodations. But during the tour the accommodations were just not match but surpassed my expectations at every location. Hats off to Sanjeev and team to create this fantastic experience for all of us. An Excellent Rajasthan Adventure! We have just completed the two week Rajasthan Adventure with Sanjeev from India Motorbike Tour. If you are an experienced motorcyclist and looking for an incredible adventure, mixing culture and a range of motorcycling conditions, you will love this. I cannot recommend Sanjeev and India Motorcycle Tours enough. We bought the Himalayan Odyssey tour, starting from Delhi and lasting for 10 days. From the moment we reached the airport we were accommodated very well. We had a driver take us from the airport straight to the first hotel - they even gave us a wreath of flowers which was completely unexpected. The hotel stays were always brilliant, from the hotel in Delhi to our highest altitude hotel near Chandra Taal (at an elevation near 5000m). Always we had a comfortable bed, shower and toilet facilities, and warm hospitality. The food was delicious and always plentiful. We were really shown the best quality North Indian food during this trip. We had a support car with us, which was a great addition to the trip - we didn't have to carry any luggage during the trip, and simply rode with ourselves on the bikes. This also meant we had a ready supply of water and snacks if we needed it, but also Sanjeev made sure to have safety equipment on hand, even for altitude sickness which we were not expecting. I brought my own medication for the trip for altitude sickness and did not even have to use it, however, because the route was well planned and I only got an altitude headache once in the whole trip when we were above 5000 meters altitude. But we specifically rode and stayed in places to acclimatize to the increasing altitude and that made a huge difference. The bikes we were on were brilliant; nimble, responsive, well looked after. And the support van came with a mechanic so we were able to have as many tweaks and accommodations as we liked on them (I got the suspension adjusted as I had a pillion, for example). But Spiti valley and the roads themselves were the highlight of the trip. With Sanjeev's expert guidance we were shown some of the most remote and beautiful places this world has to offer. I have done a few motorcycle trips now and have never seen anything like these mountains. Snow capped, full of beautiful and technical switchbacks, sometimes with moon-like black sand stretching out for miles before you, and with all sorts of animals adorning the hill sides and roads. This tour has curated some of the best scenery the region has to offer, and still leaves you wanting to come back and explore more. All the while keeping you feeling safe in the knowledge you have support, with a group of people who are all just as awestruck as you. If it hasn't been made clear yet, this was a lifechanging experience for me. I will have to come back some day to see more, because once simply isn't enough to take in the beauty of this region and the Himalayan mountains. I hope i can come back with India Motorcycle Tours to help guide me as I couldn't dream of a tour operator that is more accommodating and supportive than they were. Thanks to Sanjeev, the mechanics and everyone on the team who rode with us and supported us.

Added to initial review, which I posted just over a week ago... My initial review and rating of 5 stars remain... In fact, it's been more of the same 5 star service, fun, great riding and wonderful experiences. We added a Shimla tour to the extra week or so of amazing Rajasthan towns and cities we rode after I'd written my mid tour review: Jaipur, Pushkar, Agra and the mind blowing Taj Mahal... and back road villages, with bullocks walking a near endless circle and driving a water wheel where each bucket then spilled cold, clear water into an irrigation ditch, cups of chai marsala with groups (mostly of men - all the women and girls are working, I guess ??), cows on and beside roads, and inside buildings, markets full of chatter [yes, we rode through the Pushkar market ??]. On the trip in Rajasthan at the moment. What a fabulous life enhancing experience so far - we're just over 1/2 way through the two week tour, sitting in a nice hotel in Udaipur. Great so far, Sanjeev and his crew will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time. The bikes are well maintained, the roads both terrifying and fascinating, and the traffic in the towns is as manic as you can imagine... and then some. India is like Cannery Row's opening - read Steinbeck's wonderful book and do one of Sanjeev's wonderful tours. The blokes riding with us in Rajasthan have also done a tour with India Motorbike Tour in the Himalayas. Go for it, it will make you feel you're alive.

I have just completed the Buddhist trail 17 day motorbike trip organized by Sanjeev. I arrived a few days early to acclimatize and the weather was beautiful but as soon as the tour was supposed to start the rains came (we were there august 24 -sept 9th 2025). The rain was the worst the area has seen in over 76 years !! All the roads in and out of Leh were closed and the airport was shut! There were power cuts and the phones weren't working ! So we're left in limbo not knowing what we would do next. But luckily we had Sanjeev and it was decided we would change the route to go to Hanle (on to Umling La) and go round in the opposite direction to what was originally planned. We set off the following day for a trip of a lifetime! The riding is the best I've ever experienced! The scenery is just breathtaking! I seemed to think every day couldn't get better but it does! We had some really bad road conditions with road closures due to landslides and shooting rocks and whole roads collapsing but that just added to the adventure. The bikes were well maintained and we had no real issues apart from a flat tire on the last day which was fixed really quickly! The hotels were all very good. Some were basic the higher up you got and most had spectacular views. The food was always plentiful and tasty and we always had enough water. We had lots of issues with roads being closed but the guys always had a solution so never felt worried. It must have been really difficult for Sanjeev as he didn't want us to be stuck somewhere which could really happen as routes back to Delhi were often shut but he handled it without an issue. Even when I got back to Delhi I had a few days spare so he organized a trip for me with driver, guides and hotels to Agra which really finished the trip off nicely. I really cannot recommend Sanjeev highly enough and already planning to come back soon

Just returned home from what can only be described as a once in a lifetime adventure. Although our initial itinerary was completely thrown out of the window by Mother Nature, we had an amazing adventure with Sanjeev and his amazing team. The team had our comfort and safety at the forefront of everything they did and we never felt anything other than safe and cared for. We were supposed to visit the highest passes and valleys of the Ladakh region, however with so many roads closed or completely washed away, rockslides and passes inaccessible we had no other option but to follow the guidance of our amazing team who’s local knowledge and care guided us back to Delhi and safety whilst enjoying some of the best riding experiences we have ever had. We endured some of the most unique and challenging conditions any of Sanjeev’s tours have ever experienced and although we didn’t do the tour we expected we weren’t disappointed. It just means we might have to return for a second tour! We can’t recommend India motorbike tours highly enough they were exceptional on every level, from the well maintained motorcycles we rode, the accommodation we stayed in, the food we ate and their local knowledge that kept us safe ( this is exactly why we chose a local tour group for our trip).

We had an amazing time riding the mountain passes in the Ladakh region of the Himalayas. Our little group had the misfortune of experiencing the worst weather and rain the area had ever seen. This caused landslides and floods and passes to be snowed out but Sanjeev and his team took care of us and changed our route to keep us safe and still do as much as we could. I cannot say enough about how we were looked after and we made it back to Delhi in time for flights and other plans. It could have been a disaster but Sanjeev made sure we all got back safe and on time. Thank you!
